Following our review of their upcoming second album, Lost Salvation, we caught up with the guys to see how life is going for them before their UK tour in March.

First of all, how is Matt getting on now? The vocals sound great on the new record.

Matt is good and well.  Thank you, they are slightly more melodic or this album to the first.

Can you tell us a bit about Furyon for those that somehow aren't aware of you guys.

Heavy Rock band from The South of  England.  Just releasing  album number  two.

Your second album, Lost Salvation, is out shortly, how are you guys feeling about it?

Excited! It's been a long time coming and we are pleased to finally get it out there.

We've heard you've got a UK & Ireland tour in the works off the back of the album? We can't wait to come out to a show!

We are planning to tour yes. We'll see on there then.

As a band you have had a fairly tumultuous 12 months. Has everything settled down now?

Yes all has settled. We are used to it now it seems. Furyon has suffered some major knocks in it's early life really due to members coming and going. But ... The ship sails and the crew are onboard now.

I saw you at Download Festival in 2012 doing an acoustic set, is that something you enjoyed doing and will do more of? Tracks like Souvenir sounded amazing that day!

Thanks. Yes we love that kind of thing.

Thanks to the Spanish contingent in the band you've developed quite a following over there, how does it feel to have been accepted in such away so far from home for most of the band?

Amazing. It's great to be able to go to Spain and meet the fans of Furyon there.

Are the crowds much different to the UK crowds?

Actually they seem to participate a little more than the UK crowds do. We can be a little reserved over here. 'No sex we are British' and all that!

Any other plans for 2015 you can let us in on?

At the moment we are just working on putting out this new record and promoting it a well as we can. Maybe some nice surprises a little later on the year.

Finally, is there a venue or festival you're dying to play that you haven't yet?

Many venues ... But they are all rather large haha. It would be great to play at Hellfest!

Thanks very much for talking to us. Best of luck with Lost Salvation and the upcoming tour.
